REHABILITAION HORSES

(NOT READY FOR ADOPTION CURRENTLY)

~A HORSE CAN CHANGE A LIFE AS WE CAN THEIRS~

Shamrock, is a 20y.o. AQHA Appendix mare. Her registered name is Hats Hit, and was once on the track. We did not have papers in hand.

The picture I received that I could not say no to when asked to pick her up.

Adopted!

The first thing we do when we have an incoming horse, we evaluate, bathe with antibacterial and antifungal shampoo, worm, and quarantine for 2 weeks. We pump the forage to them along with gradually increasing ProForce Senior to 6-8lbs a day, ProElite Topline Advantage and Formula 1 Noni. While in quarantine, they will get their coggins test pulled. I make sure to not overdo their poor body systems and wait until the 2 weeks is up to receive all vaccinations. They then go out to pasture and still receive all their twice daily servings of grain, alfalfa pellets and alfalfa hay.
